If you are reading this post, you probably already know that to position yourself in the market you need to have a unique and recognizable visual identity. Having a professional brand image will help you stand out from your competition, will make it easier for you to be remembered by your customers, will give you coherence and credibility among your target audience and will increase your notoriety. In other words, it will make you look more professional and, as a consequence, your sales will increase. \ud83d\ude09 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I know that it is not easy to build a visual identity that reflects, in a single glance, our essence and our values, so the ideal is to have an expert to help you create yours. However, I also know that when we start a project we often do not have the economic capacity we would like to invest in this type of services. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, if this is your case, if you are right now defining your visual identity, I want to tell you what are the three graphic design trends we will see in 2022 to inspire you and help you create that brand not only aligned with you but also with the market you are targeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Minimalism<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Of all the graphic design trends, minimalism has been present for several years and, as they say, classic never goes out of style. This, as I say, is one of the most used styles, so it could not be missing in this list. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minimalism proposes to reduce the forms to the elementary and to empower the content to be the protagonist of our brand. Abstraction, economy of language, order or concentration are some of the graphic design concepts associated with the minimalist trend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We find this trend in both brand and product design. packaging<\/a>. We see designs that use fine typographies, pastel tones or very muted colors, using the minimum graphic elements and in many occasions, only the logo on neutral backgrounds, giving all the prominence to the brand or product. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These are brands whose main values are simplicity and elegance. These minimalist designs can be found in many cosmetic, personal care and beauty packaging. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also see that sometimes we see that these shapes are no longer so geometric and become more organic but still present simplicity and vibrant colors. Sometimes these colors can be combined to create very striking and inspiring gradients. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Retro sticker<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Perhaps this is the trend we are seeing the most and it earns the title of “Trendy”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Perhaps due to the influence of Instagram stickers or the retro style that we are also seeing on the rise, the design of sticker-like illustrations<\/a> with fun shapes keeps creeping into many brand and packaging designs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In many occasions we see that these retro illustrations combine with typographies with a lot of personality or animations that give that modern and current point. We also find compositions of many “stickers” creating that retro style that reminds us of those folders we used to carry at school or high school. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This type of design works great for fashion brands and campaigns with a younger audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
